Today I want to share with you my annual State of the Heart Address.
Last year, I made a vow to myself that no matter what happened, I would make a choice to wrap myself up in a Love Bubble. My Love Bubble has been a tremendous eye opener. It has opened my eyes to blessings that I wasn’t able to see before. My Love Bubble has literally changed my life, world, and spirit.
So this Valentine’s Day is unlike any other. I have a greater appreciation for myself and everything in my life. During the darker moments of my life last year, the only thing that changed was my thinking. Through my thoughts, I thought myself a beautiful existence. Through my thoughts, I thought myself bigger than any circumstance. Through my thoughts, I thought myself as love and the desire to be a blessing to others. Lastly, through my thoughts, I thought myself blessed beyond measure! And today, I am all of these things, through my thoughts!
What is your State of the Heart report?
It feels incredible! It’s an emotional high that puts joy in my heart and peaceful in my sleep. I’m sure by now you are wondering, “What is so incredible?” Well, I’m glad you asked. I crossed off an important item on my bucket list. This was special because I had to face many fears, do a lot of changing, and grow through what felt like unending criticism.
Today, I’m standing taller because my desire for change was stronger than any negative energy the world had to offer. Not only do I want better for my life, I believe I deserve better.
When was the last time you felt on top of the world?
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t,
either way you are right.” Henry Ford
What do you tell yourself?
“The good news is that the moment you decide that what
you know is more important than what you have been
taught to believe, you will have shifted gears in your
quest for abundance. Success comes from within, not
from without.” Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
Do you crave success?
We attract to ourselves what we hold inside. Every circumstance,
every person, and every situation that we attract and experience is
based on what is inside of us. Could you ask for a more magnificent system than this?
Your life is a reflection of what you hold inside of you, and what you hold
inside you is always under your control.
Rhonda Byrne- The Secret
What do you hold inside of you?
Seasons come and seasons go. The Season of Turbulence is no exception. We all must face the bitterness of trouble’s sting. However, it is helpful to remember that while “going” through, we must open our hearts to “grow” through the lessons our Season of Turbulence is teaching.
Trouble don’t last always, but the blessings we receive from trouble can. So, don’t let trouble trouble you. Begin to trouble your troubles!
How will you “grow” through your troubles?
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature I meet.
To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to
permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud
words, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, so long as I am true
to the best that is in me.
